KATE PLANOW
Kate will work closely with the Vice President on the Foundation’s leadership annual and major giving efforts. She is responsible for personal solicitations and stewardship of leadership annual fund gifts and designated major gifts. Kate will also work closely with other team members in support of the organization's overall fundraising and engagement goals.
Kate Planow | Director of Development
Kate returns to staff after working as the Director of Development from 2020 to 2022. She brings over a decade of higher education experience, with many of those years working with fraternities and sororities. During her time away from TEF she ventured into the tech space, working with KELL Partners and ChapterSpot (now Re:Members). Kate holds a Masters degree in counseling from Central Connecticut State University and a Bachelors degree from the University of Hartford.
Kate currently resides in Charlotte, NC where you can find her coaching a recreation softball team for high school-aged girls, sewing, or reading.
