OVERVIEW & STRATEGY
Days of Giving is an annual three-day fundraising effort to inspire Triangle's and friends of Triangle to make a gift in support of students and Triangle Fraternity.
A new Days of Giving donation platform, created for a more enjoyable and easy giving experience
Days of Giving Advocates- carefully selected Triangle alumni who will lead fundraising and donor engagement initiatives
In-person fundraising and social events
Crowdfunding: Our Days of Giving crowdfunding page will drive all traffic from email and social media to the site for giving.
Email: A series of emails will be sent beginning in February. Triangle's will be asked to spread the word about Days of Giving on their social media platforms, make an early gift, and participate in challenges. They can also sign up to become a DOG Ambassador.
Social Media: Social media posts and paid media ads (Facebook & Instagram) will start in February. Triangle Education Foundation, Triangle Fraternity, and Triangle Nationwide accounts will serve as the primary social media channels. A social media toolkit will be provided for staff, donors, and members.
Dialing for Dollars: Triangle staff and DOG Ambassadors will make phone calls asking for support of Days of Giving. Foundation staff will also use person-to-person texting throughout the campaign to send a direct giving link and reply to questions from donors.
Direct Mail: Annual Giving will mail postcards to donors and lapsed donors in February to inform them of the campaign and solicit participation.
DOG Committee: Development officers and members of the DOG committee will secure major gifts for challenges and matches.
