Triangle Education Foundation Welcomes New Vice President

The Triangle Education Foundation is thrilled to announce the appointment of Greg Lamb as the new Vice President, effective August 7, 2023. With this appointment, the Foundation strengthens its commitment to advancing and supporting members in the STEM fields and driving innovation in education.
​
Lamb brings more than 25 years of experience, having demonstrated remarkable leadership in higher education, non-profit management, and consulting. His extensive background in fundraising, combined with his passion for empowering individuals in STEM, makes Lamb the perfect fit to assist in leading the Foundation into the future.
​

"The Foundation's mission to support members in the STEM fields aligns perfectly with my own passion for promoting education and driving progress through science, engineering, and architecture. I look forward to collaborating with the talented team at the Foundation and its partners to further our impact and inspire future generations of STEM leaders."

After Lamb’s graduation from the University of Iowa, he worked as a Leadership Consultant, Director of Expansion, and Director of Fraternity Programs for Delta Upsilon International Fraternity. Following his time on the Fraternity’s staff, Greg volunteered as an advisor to the Kansas Chapter and served the Iowa Chapter as a director and president of the Alumni House Corporation for more than 16 years. He also chaired Delta Upsilon’s Alumni Involvement Committee and served on the Board of Directors’ Nomination Committee. Greg has been a speaker and conference facilitator for Delta Upsilon and other national fraternal organizations as well as the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE).

In 2018, Greg was inducted into the University of Iowa’s Order of Omega Hall of Fame which recognizes outstanding alumni for their professional achievements and contributions to Greek life.
​
Greg served as Executive Director of Development for the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2013 to 2023. He previously served as Assistant Vice President for Corporate and Foundation Relations for the UI Center for Advancement.
​
Prior to joining the UI Center for Advancement, he served as Development Director at the KU Endowment Association where he managed the development efforts of the University of Kansas School of Business. From 1997 to 2004 Greg was Vice President/Senior Consultant at Pennington & Company, a development consulting firm based in Lawrence, Kansas.
​
Greg lives in Iowa City with his wife, Meredith, an alumna of Delta Delta Delta, and their three children.
​
As the new Vice President, Lamb will play a crucial role in strategizing and executing initiatives that foster excellence in STEM education, empower and engage Triangle alumni and donors, and enhance the Foundation's mission to provide leadership and resources that help achieve the educational and personal development goals and objectives of Triangle and its members.
​
