Dave Schumacher  |  Director of Development 

Dave presently serves as Director of Development of the Triangle Education Foundation, primarily responsible for chapter campaigns.  He joined the TEF staff in May of 2023.

Most recently, Dave served as Vice President, Campaign Division for ElevateIMS, whose corporate focus is specific to alumni communication and fundraising for fraternity and sorority house corporations and non-profit associations. He helped raise more than $100 million in recent years.

​

Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of the Delta Upsilon Educational Foundation. While at DU, he was responsible for the cultivation and philanthropic development of alumni, undergraduates and friends to fund scholarships and educational training needs for brothers of the organization.

Over the years, Dave has served as Senior Vice President, Dorris and Associates—Responsible for major fundraising initiatives for numerous national associations, fraternal groups and education foundations. Regional Marketing Director, First of America Bank--Responsible for strategic business planning, advertising and promotional marketing management and corporate marketing communication across all affiliate banks in Indiana and Illinois.  Group Marketing Manager, Stokely Van-Camp, Canned Foods Division-Products Group—Managed the $100M Stokely’s Finest Brand consisting of fruits, vegetables and tomato products. Commissioned 2nd Lieutenant, United States Army.

Dave received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Indiana University, Bloomington. He is a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.  In recent years, he served as Treasurer of the NIC Foundation and has been recognized with the NICF Outstanding Foundation Award.

He lives in Fishers, IN with his wife Susie. He enjoys spending time with their two children and four grandchildren.
