AMBASSADORS

What are Ambassadors? 

DOG Ambassadors/advocates (used interchangeably) help spread the word about Triangle's Days of Giving on social media and within their personal networks. There are four different levels of ambassador support.

How do you sign up to be an Ambassador? 

  1. Click this link

  2. Complete the form

  3. Hit submit

  4. Sign up for your account through GiveCampus (video instructions here)

  5. Share your personal giving link with your network. This can be sent via email, text message, or social media.

  6. Create and share your personal plea video (video instructions here)

  7. Once your sponsorship is confirmed by a member of the Foundation staff, load it into the campaign page (video instructions here).

What are the varying levels of support? 

Diamond Level

  • Makes a donation or sponsors a match of $2,500 or more

  • Provides an image and bio to be used for website and promotion

  • Records solicitation and thank-you videos to be used prior to, during and post DOG

  • Engages in P2P fundraising by sharing DOG details and giving site link

  • Receives diamond-level ambassador swag bag
     

Gold Level

  • Makes a donation or sponsors a match of $1,000 or more

  • Provides an image and bio to be used for website and promotion

  • Records solicitation and thank-you videos to be used prior to, during and post DOG

  • Engages in P2P fundraising by sharing DOG details and giving site link

  • Receives gold-level ambassador swag bag
     

Silver Level

  • Makes a donation or sponsors a match of $500 or more

  • Provides an image and bio to be used for website and promotion

  • Records solicitation and thank-you videos to be used prior to, during and post DOG

  • Engages in P2P fundraising by sharing DOG details and giving site link

  • Receives silver-level ambassador swag bag
     

Bronze Level

  • Makes a donation or sponsors a match of $250 or more

  • Provides an image and bio to be used for website and promotion

  • Records solicitation and thank-you videos to be used prior to, during and post DOG

  • Engages in P2P fundraising by sharing DOG details and giving site link

  • Receives bronze-level ambassador swag bag
     

Who should sign up to be an Ambassador? 

All actives, alumni, donors, staff, friends and families can sign up!

 

What is the incentive of serving as an Ambassador? 

Ambassadors help bring in a large portion of the funds raised during Days of Giving. Beyond relishing in the joy that comes from having a huge impact on Triangle, ambassadors will get to work towards different incentives based on total amount raised.

What resources are available to Ambassadors? 

Ambassadors will receive a DOG toolkit which includes access to assets, images, and social media messaging to support Days of Giving promotions. Additionally, Ambassadors will receive a hand guide which includes all the need-to-know information as they plan to promote and support DOG. This will include sample email and text content, a detailed timeline of DOG events, and contact information for the week.
