DAYS OF GIVING
ADVOCATES OVERVIEW
What are Advocates?
Advocates spread the word about Triangle's Days of Giving on social media and with their personal network. While not required, Advocates are encouraged to lead a challenge or match during Days of Giving. These challenges and/or matches can be for all DOG participants or can be chapter, year, or location-specific. People can self-identify and sign up to be an Ambassador here.
How do you sign up to be an Advocate?
-
Complete the form
-
Hit submit
Advocates will receive an email shortly after from our Giving Day platform, GiveCampus, that asks them to create an account. Once completed, they can create a custom URL to share about Days of Giving with their network. The URL will also allow Advocates to track how many gifts and the total dollar amount they've brought in.
Who should sign up to be an Advocate?
All actives, alumni, donors, staff, friends and families can sign up!
What is the incentive of serving as an Advocate?
Advocates help bring in a large portion of the funds raised during Days of Giving. Beyond relishing in the joy that comes from having a huge impact on Triangle, ambassadors will get to work towards different incentives based on total amount raised.
What resources are available to Advocates?
Advocates will receive a DOG toolkit which includes access to assets, images, and social media messaging to support Days of Giving promotions. Additionally, Advocates will receive a hand guide which includes all the need-to-know information as they plan to promote and support DOG. This will include sample email and text content, a detailed timeline of DOG events, and contact information for the week.
