It’s Founder’s Day and the Armour Chapter of Triangle Fraternity will have quite a bit of celebrating to do this year.
 
The Illinois Institute of Technology will recognize and honor Brother Al Ver (ar ’65) by presenting him with a Professional Achievement Award at its 2010 Alumni Awards Ceremony on April 23, 2010.

In addition to celebrating the 103rd birthday of our Fraternity, we also get to celebrate the accomplishments of our own chapter brother (who is already been enshrined in the Triangle National Wall of Fame.)

We want to make it a family event this year, so the Founder’s Day activities will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010.  The main event will be a Major League Baseball game at US Cellular field with our Chicago White Sox playing host to the Seattle Mariners.

Festivities will commence at the chapter house at 11:00AM.

11:00AM-1:30PM:    Campus tours with guided tours of the newest buildings on campus, the McCormick Tribune Campus Center (MTCC) and State Street Village (SSV).

1:40PM-3:40PM:      Patio Party/Buffet/Festivities in the US Cellular Field Warning Track Party Area.

3:10PM-?:??PM:       Seattle Mariners vs. Chicago White Sox Baseball game.

The cost is $90 per person and includes a two-hour patio party with All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet and game seating in the Warning Track area.  The delicious menu will feature BBQ ribs, Cajun chicken, fried chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, side salads, wine, Miller and Pepsi products.  Wait staff will be available for any additional food and drink purchases after the all-you-can-eat and drink portion of our program.
