An Investment in the Future
In an ever competitive global marketplace engineers will not only have to be good problem solvers and fluent in their chosen field, but also outstanding leaders and communicators. As President of Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, I am working every day to make sure we have the most, well-trained engineers entering the workforce who can effectively communicate with their co-workers, lead a group of people and be valuable members of their community.
On Rose’s campus and on campuses across the country, Triangle is helping to accomplish this important goal. Our Fraternity picks up where the classroom leaves off, providing a living, learning laboratory that allows our brothers to develop interpersonal skills and to experiment with leadership, ethics and group dynamics – key skill sets that will set them apart when they leave the hallow halls of our institutions of higher education.
My commitment to the full development of the individual both in and out of the classroom is why my wife Lynn and I support the Triangle Education Foundation as donors. I see first hand how the programs the Foundation funds each day impact the lives of young men across the country. The engineering profession - and society as a whole - needs talented, engaged, values-based professionals entering the workforce. I am confident in saying Triangle is helping to accomplish that goal.
I encourage you to consider joining me in furthering Triangle’s mission by making a donation to the Foundation, which will help to develop well-balanced men in the fields of engineering, architecture and science. Our collective investments today – whether large or small - will pay dividends for years to come in the lives of young engineers, architects and scientists.
